Yet again more setbacks to report in our quest to relocate and return to the airwaves. It now appears that our desire to purchase a licensed radio outlet is dead. While the plan to return the Part 15 AM radio station to the airwaves is still very much alive and doable, our original plan to relocate to a suitable community for commercial operation is now in jeopardy due to circumstances out of our control. It is very likely we'll have to move to a smaller community or even a rural town where limited advertising revenue will reduce the chances of creating a successful commercial operation.

I will be spending the next few months doing work in preparation for the return of the Part 15 AM station to the airwaves. Over the last month I've been purchasing new computers and software for automation purposes and general production work and various office projects. And there is more to come.

News on the relocation front has not changed all that much. I'm still working on relocating to a new community in the northeast quandrant of the country but choosing the "right" community to support a commercial Part 15 AM venture is proving to be a challenge. Fortunately I have roughly three or four communities in mind that appear to offer some real potential to fully develop a successful community radio station and now it is just a matter of watching and waiting until the right property comes along. If all goes according to plan I will be moving out of Kansas City in March 2009 and returning to the airwaves by the Summer of 2009.
